This one took four AA batteries instead of an external battery back. They also produced a new version of their 6×7 motorized back. Finally, after 20 years, Mamiya updated their 645 back to the Pro-SD style. In the 6×7 backs (120 and 220), Mamiya incorporated a darkslide sheathing method similar to that which they had implemented with the 70mm back.
